Krupp, one of the scientists in charge of the satellite, hires the Flight Squad to recover the vehicle, which is supposed to land near the base. In their search, they encounter the Barracudas, who seem to be looking for the same thing. Now if the satellite contains a super vaccine, as Krupp assured, why would these crooks want to get a hold of it? The Flight Squad quickly discover the lie: the satellite in fact contains a terrible virus that Krupp engineered for powerful terrorist groups. The team will destroy the virus, neutralize the Barracudas, and get Krupp arrested.

Sirolio and a scientist are nearly killed with the creature escapes. Some quick thinking allows them to draw the thing back into "the pit". Safe, for now.
